Have so much motivation it infects others
Motivation can be a hard thing to come by for some people. If you are a motivated type, don't stop there; your motivation can benefit others by spreading motivation.
A strong leader can motivate others. Often, lack of motivation is caused by not knowing the purpose of a task. A good leader will keep staff focused on the objective.
Motivated staff and team members, benefit everybody in the end.
Incentives
Rewards can negatively affect motivation
While rewards can definitely change the course of action a person takes, are they always a good way to encourage productivity?
The answer is no. For example, if a child will only happily go to school after receiving candy from their parents, they will only be motivated for the candy, not school.
Certain incentivisation methods are more useful than others. Encouraging a sustained engagement in the activity/action rather than in the reward will harbor healthy motivation.
